Mt. Usui
Hello everyone, welcome to another track review for CTRacer (City Racer). There is a reason why I decided to do those 8 downhill blogs, the English version of City Racer is in closed beta, we anticipate to have those downhills in the English version sometime next year. Now last track review was all about Mt. Myogi as pretty easy and fun track for all newbies in general, feel free to read all about this track here.
So today we are going to take a little look at Mt. Usui Pass witch is a normal difficulty downhill with long straights and smaller space to turn on this track, this is also where the angle of certain corners is much lower than Mt. Myogi and Namhansansung and even if this track doesn't have any hidden bumps I would still classify this track as a normal difficulty race because you do have more combinations of corners than last downhill I reviewed with less room for mistakes too, more than enough reason for me I guess.
Now let's analyze this track a bit based on the video demo bellow all this wall'o'text. For the sake of showing the differences in each track I recorded all videos with CAPU-SP (Cappunccino) with no upgrades what so ever, so how is this track ? well for starters the first 2 corners don't pose much of a problem you can enter them at 100-110 km/h maybe 120km/h depending on your car and parts setup, witch is followed by a sharp "U" corner to the right that for some reason those type of corners on this map can make your car slide so you really need to be careful how you handle your car, I would say 70-80 km/h speed is safe spot witch will let you take those corners without much of a problem. Now we do have long and nice corners where you can drive at a pretty decent speed but most of the time when I exit those I tend to hit the wall as get as close as I can so I cut time and keep my speed up, though for the sake of the video I decided to play safe and drive nicely. There are some small "S" type corners that are fairly easy and shouldn't pose any problem. In the closing I would like to say that this downhill has a reverse version and the car class recommended is "B". Thank you very much for reading this track review, next track I'm going to review is Mt. Haruna, very popular in anime and manga "Initial D".
